    Description:

Wt Tools is a Nutrition and Fitness tool useful in managing weight loss. It serves as a daily journal of all activities performed and foods eaten with their associated nutritional values (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat and fiber). It maintains a daily and weekly running total of calories eaten or burned and uses this value with your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) to calculate your calorie deficit or surplus for each day. Weight loss occurs by maintaining a calorie deficit over time. WtTools adds this calorie deficit (or surplus) value to a Bank at the end of each day, and maintains this running total in the Bank for a week. By monitoring the Bank, you can eat more or less calories on a given day and still make progress toward your weight loss goal.

WtTools also gives totals of nutritional values of the foods eaten for each day, so you can maintain recommended daily allowances. By adding activities to your daily routine, you will increase the rate of your weight loss over time. Each activity is associated with calories burned and is added to your daily and weekly running totals. WtTools is highly adaptable to your individual preferences. You can add individual food items or complete recipes and meals, and specify any quantity or unit size. Nutritional values may be entered from product labels, USDA database or calculated from any recipe. Activities and exercises are also adaptable to your preferences. You may add any activity you wish; such as, ironing, gardening, housework, shopping, walking, jogging, etc.

Other tools included are BMI (Body Mass Index), Body Fat %, BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate),and current Weight and Waist measurements; all display constantly on the main screen. WtTools includes basic foods and activities from the start, but it becomes extremely useful as you enter your personal foods, meals, recipes, and exercises. You may enter everything at once or simply enter items as you go from day to day.
