Microbe is an all-in one electronic music composer for PalmOS© 5 Handhelds.

It features two channels of synthesis with low-pass resonant filter, and 8 channels of modifiable drum samples, all of them programmed with a user-friendly step by step / grid sequencer.

The trial version has the following limitations: after a few minutes one of the tracks is muted, after 2 or 3 more minutes, another track is muted, etc ; beaming is disabled ; and you can save only one song at a time.

Requires a device supporting PalmOS© 5.0 streaming sound. It means that there is no and won't be any support for devices with limited sound capacities (OS < 5.0 devices)

Owners of NX/NZ/TG Cliés will need to install a little hack created by CliePet emulating the OS 5.0 sound APIs. Get it, it is free. The result might not be perfect (clicks), so it is advised to experiment before purchasing.
