App is OK at best. Uninstall sucks.
Again. Thank you for the one who pointed out the way to uninstall this less-than-average SW. No support from the Firepad website. Who would ever thought that "Cancel" means "Uninstall"!!!???

As far as the SW goes, who wants to convert pic's into PDBs 1st before viewing it on the Palm ... while there are much better SWs out there supporting native format directly.

Poor Uninstall
Thanks so much for cluing us in on how they hid the Uninstall feature. However - since I emailed their support this question six months ago - and never got an answer - and have been living with the d**n additions to the right-click popup ever since - and they haven't fixed this --- I have to agree with the previous poster that it is c**p.

You can uninstall
Hi, I just want to respond to the previous person who could not uninstall Firepad. When you go to control panel / "Add or remove Programs", and you select Firepad to remove, the first thing it does is ask you if you want to either upgrade or cancel. There is no choice for "remove". This is misleading, because if you hit "cancel", it will then ask if you want to uninstall Firepad. So you can uninstall... but the button for it is misleadingly placed!

SD Card Works Fine with FireViewer
A previous review was incorrect -- you CAN put FireViewer pictures on the SD card. Just click the "save to card" button in FireConverter. This creates a special PDB file which you can save to the card using the Palm Install Tool. Works like a charm!

Not happy with Fireviewer
Ive tried the fireviewer with my Sony NR70V, a let down of a program. The Kinoma viewer is far superior with its high resolution and color support along with its cd quality sound sampling . The frame rates are also very impressive. The Kinoma viewer is a far better bargain at $30.00
