Don't bother
I've tried five different times to get my registration code... they went so far as to insinuate that I never actually purchased the program (after I sent them the order information clearly stating that I *HAD* bought the application).

Might be a great problem if you can actually get the reg code - I dunno. I refunded.

Tiger chess is weak
Tiger chess plays incredibly weak on low levels and incredibly slow on higher levels.
Chess Genius is free from these problems.

The strongest Palm program, but lots of features for learning players
I've registered PocketChess, Chess Genius and Chess Tiger. Chess Tiger is the strongest of the three, and the only one that lets you select various playing styles so you
don't get bored. Another nice features for those who like to take their time playing chess (or let the computer think a long time on the to increase the autooff time well beyond the standard minute or three, so that the machine doesn't keep shutting off on you. Note that the longer autooff time applies generally (not just for Chess Tiger), so uncheck this option once you no longer want it. For beginners, the eight "training levels", the option to display legal moves, the "hint" feature, and the "takeback" feature are all useful, as well as the "book moves" feature which will let you know in the early moves of the game what some of the specific "stock moves" in a position are. There are some extensive reviews of Chess Tiger on the web - see for instance http://home.earthlink.net/~kantack/lcdchess/chesstiger.htm
