Poor Customer Service, Weak Product
This program has been plagued with bugs from day one. Many upgrades have caused total system crashes in the Palm OS. BEWARE! Atsushi Iizuka will cut off your availability of upgrades after a while and make you pay for a new license. Very poor business practices, slow response to email and indifferent support make this one of the worst choices I have ever made in Palm software.

Needs IGS Connectivity
The programme is a good learning tool for people just getting into the game. For more experienced players it would definitely be better if it could connect to the IGS server to play games against other people online and some hosted AI programmes which are much stronger.

too weak
It's a nice program, plays well. Great for the beginner. I've been playing go two months though, and I can give it 9+ stones on any size board and I'm only 20k* on IGS. So, this is great if you have a long plane ride and always wanted to learn what go is . . . That would be perfect! Go is hard to program even on an PC -- the programs on PC easily beat by beginner, so not this programmer's fault. I wish someone would put igowin or other 9x9'er on the palm.

Bad Purchase Options
It seems pretty good compared to other Palm Go games... but I'd be much more comfortable purchasing it if it were through a major processor (e.g. paypal??)

Looks good
My first Palm download ( in fact I checked this before I even buy this palm ) and its looking good and playing well. ---------- About the history of GO : I'm not an expert, but most sources say : developped in China a few thousand years ago and went to Japan rough a thousand years ago. [ eg. : http://www.well.com/user/mmcadams/gointro.html ] Bye, DD.

go is not Japanese
As with most things of this sort, there is a common misconception: Go is from China! While it is played all around Asia and the world, it is the Chinese culture that produced the game as well as many of its' best players.
