Stands out among the flooded market
I bought the Vaja iVod DJ case for my 40gb 4G iPod. After trying quite a few cases I speant the expensive 80$ for the case. As soon as I slipped my iPod into the case I realized that it was truely worth 80$, no other case compares in all aspects. Truely the best case available for iPods, and worth the money.

Nutshell Belt Holster for PDA
I have read with interest the comments on the Vaja and other belt cases for PDA and I would like to you come visit http://www.nutshell.cc. This is an unashamed promo for this product, because I actually own the company and I am here to tell you that we have spent a very long time researching what it is that people want to do with their PDA device and how best to carry it. Remember that the PDA developers have spent an awful lot of money to make sure that their device fits and feels right at home in your hand - so why would you want to go screw up all the ergonomics by putting it in leather case? Sure, I understand the wish to carry your PDA so it looks less like an electronic device, but sooner of later, as many people have found out, the leather stretches and the fit becomes sloppy - viola! the thing falls out at the worst time and gets broken. The nutshell is not designed like that for that very reason. While we acknowledge the time and effort spent making a PDA fit neatly, we also know just how fragile these devices are. That's why we developed the Nutshell belt cases/holsters. Instead of trying to use your PDA in some fancy-looking case,`we recommend you put in in a reinforced leather nutshell - on your belt, when you are not actually using it. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not offer rotating clips or tricky clips. Our clips are made of super-strong steel and our belt loop cases mean they stay on your belt - at an angle that makes it easy for you to use! That's why we offer a three year warranty on our cases - we cannot protect you from yourself, but we can protect your PDA.

its the belt clip?
I bought the case that accomodated the visor phone module with the new belt clips. One month later, the button they glued on the back of the case broke off and as my visor phone tumbled to the ground I freaked! Fortunately, the phone is OK, but the belt clip is unusable. Customer service hasn't contacted me yet. I tried gluing it back on; but that didn't work. They need to sew the damn button into the leather, or it doesn't matter HOW good the belt clip is!

?doesn't there appear to be a reoccurring theme here??
OK, Buy the case but not with the clip. Two products apparently engineered and designed well, separtately. Together, it appears it will cost you $150-190 to replace the screen, or 400-250 to replace the "thingie" in the case (pda). C'mon, how could they not know this is happening to their cases, and not a class action suite at that. Horrible. I'm looking for cases and stumbled upon these reviews, thank you for saving me from a terrible mistake. Rob

VAJA Case broke my Sony CLIE
I purchased a custom case from Vajacases. I requested the belt clip, and the space for magic sticks.I got the case, and it was the case without the magic stick space. I contacted Vaja, and they were very kind apologetic. They offered to replace the case. I was using the case, and I got out of a car, and heard a slight tear... I didn't know what the sound was. I stood up, and the case actually tore away from the belt clip! The CLIE fell, and the screen cracked. I contacted Sony, and since the unit was dropped, I have to pay £125/$185 for a replacement screen. Here is vaja cases reply:
Dear Lance, We are writing to inform what is the procedure to follow regarding your case. As our Custom Cases Department assistant told you in her mail, since the case we sent was not exactly what you had asked, we will send you a new one, making sure all the requirements detailed in the order will be present in the case. As I told you before we ordered the case production as a priority issue and we could speed up the manufacturing procedure. Since it is our duty to respond for the products we manufacture, the exact case you ordered at the beginning is ready to be shipped on Monday by TNT express service with no extra charge. Thank you very much Best regards Maria Cecilia Garcia Querol Customer Service www.vajacases.com I contacted Vajacase via email, and they refuse to acknowledge the problem. As of November 5, 2001, I've not heard a thing. Customer service at it's finest. Want to see the damage?

Best Case !
I have used many cases for my Palm Vx including the Rhino aluminum molded case, Rhino slide aluminum case, the Levenger leather cases but none of these quality products match that of the Vaja. Sweet leather case, great feel, syncable and very functional with the flip top for one hand use. Well worth the $$ as I have tried a lot of cases and sent many back.

Vaja Case for Sony Clie N710C
First the quality is excellent and all the stiching was perfect. The holes matched up for the most part, only one that didnt match up good was the resync hole, it is a little to high, but I can still easily press the reset button with out any trouble.I was concerned about the memory stick holders touching the screen and scratching it, but they seemed to have done a great job designing the case to avoid this from happening. They place a padded strip on the right side of the top that makes the top not go down to far as to touch the screen, of course you can push on it hard to make it happen. Hooking the charging cable up is no problem and removing it from the case to hotsync is very easy (I plan on getting the travel hotsync cable any way). I am quite happy with my Red/Black version and it is quite comfortable to hold and gives the Clie an even more solid feel with the case on. It does add some thickness to the unit, but I still find I can place it in my front pocket fine. Overall I think I picked a winner here and will be very happy showing off my new stylish case and Clie.

VAJA Cases - New Belt Clip
We just sent our first batch of Ultra Clips to VAJA a few weeks ago and they're now ready to ship any case with the Ultra. The Ultra Clip is a huge improvement over their previous clip. In my (admitedly slanted) opinion they have the absolute finest case on the market today. The detail, workmanship and fit were always perfect anyway. They were thrilled to see us develop the Ultra Clip and among the first to order it for their cases.
