Some good things, some omissions?
Pros:
It has a very nice display, sharp bright and much nicer than the Zire 31 I was using.
The Wi-Fi is great to have.
The keyboard is actually usable for a short e-mail or an IM client.

Cons:
Audio sux
No Mic
Wi-Fi kills the battery very quickly

Almost perfect
The fastest PDA I've used, including a 400mhz iPaq. Keyboard is actually usable. But, both of mine - now returned to shop - had the "popping" problem. Even when set to "silent", it periodically "clicks" and makes noise. This was the killer blow. Screen was beautiful and it has a flip cover.

Love it but it's a bit big
I've replaced my m500 with this beautiful machine, but I do miss how thin and light the m500 was.

Regarding Jesse E Davis's comment about not being able to connect the T|C to a phone, I did just that today. I used IR to get a GPRS internet connection using my Motorola 280 phone, no problem, just like I used to do with my m500, but this time with a much better browser experience.

It does look like I'll have to go back to 3rd-part SMS software though, as this version of OS 5 does not seem to do anything with the phone drivers.
