What a phone!
If you haven't seen this phone, it is wonderful! I have had it for about a week now, and I love it. It picks up good every were I go and you can hear very well on it as well. Applause, applause, applause for Kyocera on this one.

The 6035 has been with me constantly for over a year. Now I have two of these Smartphones since CompUSA was giving them away after rebate last month. IMHO this is the best Smartphone out there for less than $150. I would rate the EATURES as a five except the display isn't in color. Check out http://www.smartphonesource.com/ for a community of users who own this phone. Many plam applications work perfectly with the 6035 if they don't need color.

Excellent, but replaced by new model
I was surprised to see this phone featured on the Palm Blvd home page today (09/25/02) as this model has been discontinued, to be replaced by model 7135, in color and with 16 mb of memory. Release date publicized as the last qtr of 2002. The 6035 is wonderful. Currently have over 400 address book entries, about 7 add-on apps and 3 novels on mine and the 8 mb memory is 61% free. I like the real phone pad buttons - makes one-handed use easier. Haven't seen anything that I like better. Looking fwd to color.

Oh yeah!
This phone/pda combo is the bomb, I have had several others in the past, including the startac/organizer combo, but no other single unit compares, yeah ok color would be nice, but it not really needed, and yeah it's kinda pricey, but compare the cost of a pda (palm VII $199) plus the cost of a trimode phone($150), plus a pager($50) and you come close to the same price, not to mention you don't look like state trooper with all that crap hanging form your belt! Buy one on ebay save a bundle in the process, I did and would again.

Best device I ever had
I've been using my Smartphone for about 1 year. Prior to that I had it's predecessor, the PDQ-800 by Qualcomm. It underwent a MAJOR diet and upgrade to move from the larger, heavier, uglier PDQ to the sleek Smartphone. Just wait until the color version comes out. The only problem I've had is I can't seem to get the web browser to work. I've used it for SMS, wireless modem, email, even sent a fax with it.If you have questions, send me an email with "Smartphone" in the subject field. I'm very happy with mine. I hope the color comes out soon.
