Verizon forcing replacement?
I bought the 1st 6035 then replaced with this 7135 & love the phone. Unfortunately since the verizon e911 they won't activate them anymore. Since about 2 weeks ago both my boyfriend's 7135 & my 7135 have been acting up. Too much a coincident. He replaced his w a treo only to find that we can't access internet using current minutes, separate /per MB charge. (I hate the treos..too many buttons for when I want to make a call). Is anyone else runnning into this? I get 'performing maintenance please wait ' after a reset and it is reseting alot these days.

Alltel / Insurance / Product Guard
FYI...If you are paying for product guard / insurance on the Kyocera 7135 from Alltel you should immediately request a refund since the purchase date. The insurance will not pay for replacement/repair if the phone is lost/stolen/damaged/etc...This can be verified by contacting 800-255-8351 Alltel's Customer Service; most local offices are not aware of this policy.

Great phone but the battery!
This thing is really cool. Really but I notice that all these posts are pretty old and I am having a battery/ charging problem. I got this phone from an insurance issue with the 6035 that stopped working (another big reason to get Palms that double as phones HA HA) so after a go around of two or three 6035 referbs, Asurion sent me this. I am a Palm fan really. Anyway Kyocera says that only battery modules with 05 on the end are bad. I have 04. Well my battery door is kind of hot most of the time and it has to be charged a lot. Also it beeps or buzzes really bad and the led turns red and stays on when ever I charge it from the wall. The last time I was charging from the wall and I also sent a text message at which point it shut down and rebooted. I then realize that I lost all the data that I had stored. I have not charged it in the car long enough to have that happen I do not think and I received no sync/ charger from the insurance company. No sync software either but anyway. I called the insurance company and they said they were already sending a new battery because I called earlier and complained about not getting anything to support this hand held computer and that this one probably just has a bad cell in it. Sorry for the long post. What do you think?

No SDIO as far as I know
I'm told the SD/MMC slot is not sdio, so forget bluetooth or gps soft/hardware. That's as far as I know to this point. Nice phone tho, had it a week and enjoying using it. Switched from Cingular to Verizon, coverage is MUCH better, at least so far. Let you know after I take the phone and the Harley on the road. Happy Communicating!
