Most of the songs I get from Kazaa or Morpheus work, but occasionally I get the same message you did. This has only happened with songs from recently-released CDs. I think that they were all the correct bit rate and frequency, so perhaps they were copyright protected in some way. After all, we do own Sony PDAs..the company that invented its own copyright protection audio format!

Anyway, the only way I could get the mp3s that gave me this message to work properly on my Clie was to burn them to an audio CD, then rip them back to my PC (I use MusicMatch Jukebox). After I did this, no problems! Maybe I formatted them correctly, or maybe this gets around any copyright protection...I don't know, but it worked for me. Good luck!
