Message:

Sound files (wma or mp3) have to go on a memory stick (MS). When you get one, you can transfer it two ways, depending on what kind of MS you get. If you get a Magic Gate memory stick, you can trasfer the larger music files through your sony audio program. Instead of hotsyncing it to your clie, it will give you the option of sending it to the MS. If you get a regular MS, Sony's audio program won't let you put any music on it because it doesn't have copy protection built into it (it wouldn't work for me, anyway) I got around this problem by placing my clie in its cradle and openning the AudioPlayer program. Then you go to Options and click on Transfer. When this is done, Windows should detect the MS and assign it a logical drive letter. Now, in windows explorer, you can copy your mp3 or wav files and paste them onto the MS. The audio files will need to go into the palmprogramsmsaudio directory on the MS in order for AudioPlayer to find them. This this transfer program running, you can copy any kind of file to or from the MS, even files that the clie can't read. Click Exit and OK on the clie when the files are finished transferring. That's my two cents anyway. I hope it helps.
