I have the same noise when I turn on the backlight. You are right about the Vx not having the noise. However, I also own the Original Palm III which has a similar backlight with the sony and the exact same noise is present when the backlight is turned on. The Palm III unit that I own is more than 2 1/2 years old now. Don't worry about the noise. -Kevin Is this message offensive or in violation of this board's policies?
