I have had this problem for about 3-4 months just after changing jobs so I did not call right away now 4 months over warranty and I get the same feed back from palm as on all the other boards. Sounds to me like a defective product and for the amount of money this cost ( I do love it to death and have replaced my laptop with it) I am not recommending it to anyone on our sales team. $100 - $125 to fix the battery just out of warranty is out of line and should prevent it being used for any corporate roll out. Also I see some private schools suggesting it rather than laptops for the kids. I might e-mail them warning them to tell parents it will cost $125 per year to keep it working. I just got off the phone with tech support and as you can see I am not very happy. Once you go color it's hard to go back. And I can't afford $125 battery every 12 months. This should prevent salepeople from using it to replace ACT on a laptop for CRM applications. Is this message offensive or in violation of this board's policies?
