I have exactly the same problem. For the last 5 months I have been unable to charge my Palm beyong 65%. A charge is used up in less than 2 hours at best. Having called Palm's service department, they checked different things as well, such as with hacks and Hard Resets, which have no effect.

It seems that there is some physical problem with the Palm and they will replace it. I must say that I have had several kinds of probelms in the past with PalmIIICs such as cracked cases (defect) and screens with defective calibration for the touch sensors. This will be my fifth PalmIIIC. So I can't fault Palm for its technical support - but these technical problems must be costing them a fortune.
