Message:It depends what you mean by quick and easy. Whichever application you use, you are still going to have to configure the Connection and Network preferences in the OS. Once you have done that, any decent internet-related application, e.g. AvantGo, Eudora, MultiMail, etc, will start the dial-up when you launch it. Since I got my Palm, I've seen a number of enquiries here and elsewhere for a connection speed monitor, but I've never seen a positive reply. Good luck with that one. As for disconnecting, again most reputable software will have a Disconnect option on the first drop-down menu. If not, you can disconnect from the Network Preferences screen. In either case, there is no need to turn your Palm off.
