Message:the simplest and most popular way to remove a scratch is this: collect about one teaspoon of cigarette ash and mix it with the simplest toothpaste available (NOT, I repat, NOT an abbrasive toothpaste... the cheapest, simplest, will do). about 1/2 teaspoon of toothpaste, to be more precise. mix it untill you'll get a grey, uniform thing; then, using a mascara remover cotton pad, wipe the scratch place in uniform, continuous circles. beware not to heat the screen due to friction. this metod is one we photographers use to clean and remove scratches from old, non-treated lenses; but I'd strongly advise you to protect the rest of the PDA somehow. of course, use at your own risk... and don't press too hard, you might get the touch-screen destroyed.
