Message:Thanks for sharing your experience....it does indeed sound just like mine. The only difference is that I am using Windows 98 and have no intention of upgrading given the small print in agreement to use XP that allows MS access to your computer. Nevertheless, I have for a different reason reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled my OS thereby solving the other issue, but not the Kyocera Desktop problem that is driving me crazy. Thanks anyway...Laurie
