Message:

I am trying in vain to install Palm Desktop into my Power User account on my Windows 2000 machine, but keep getting the following error message:

"Current user rights are not sufficient for proper installation.

Installation requires "Administrator Rights". Do not install into Administrator account. Instead create or modify a user, giving them "Administrator Rights". Refer to your WindowsNT manual to learn how to perform this action.

Installation will now exit."

I can install it as the Administrator, and I can sync with my 6035, but I use my Power User account for e-mail (as I know you are supposed to), and I've even tried to "Run As" the Administrator while logged in as POwer User and this doesn't work either.

I have looked and looked into how to change the User permissions to give a user Administrator rights, but I can find it nowhere. When I go to the Administrative Tools and navigate to the Local Security Settings, I see nowhere that is applicable.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
