Message:

I am thinking about getting the 6035 due to the current deals that are available. I have some questions for those in the know that I would like to ask:

1. Since the battery runs both the phone and the PDA, how long does the battery last? It's no big deal if the PDA battery dies, as long as you have been syncing, but no phone is a problem.

2. Is the speakerphone usable when driving in a car?

3. Are the external buttons on the flip part easily pressed unintentionally causing the phone to dial or turning the phone on?

4. Can you sync email with Outlook? I have a Palm 100 and it did not come with the email capability. I think that is due to the 8MB RAM limit. Can you have other apps on the 6035 if you use email and web browser capabilities?

5. Does the phone have a vibration feature as a ring option?

6. Is the screen glass and does it scratch easily?

7. How functional is the web browser capability? I realize the speed is slow, but can you view web pages? Is it functional? For example, how long would it take to go to Yahoo and get movie times?

8. If you get email directly on the phone, does it automatically notify you or do you need to log onto the web?

Thanks for your help. I also realize that Kyocera announced a new phone with more features. The biggest difference to me is the 16MB of RAM which would allow more apps. I have never had a problem with the M100, but I have not been able to sync email.
