Tip: Windows Mobile - Removing an E-Mail Account

By Amy Mayer
June 13, 2008

Deciding you no longer want e-mail from a certain address on your handheld is easy to execute in Windows Mobile. Go to Start-->Messaging and then scroll to highlight the account you want to remove. From the Menu select "Delete."

The warning message will remind you that even messages in your outbox will be deleted. So if you've just typed a quick one to let people know your new address, you'd better be sure it's gone before you delete the account.

Once you're ready, click "yes" to confirm you really want the account removed and you're all set.
