Well, yeah, the I500 is out... BUT the CDMA version is a lesser unit than the GSM version...

The GSM unit runs OS 5 on an ARM processor while the CDMA version runs 4.1 on a dragonball. The GSM unit has an SDIO slot, where the CDMA unit has none...

I'd say these are pretty substantial deficits for the CDMA I500 when it is made by the same manufacturer, uses the same part number, and costs exactly the same amount...

Actually the opposite is true!

Look up SPH I500

It's a CDMA and I believe very soon to be available.

?and CDMA gets stuck again
Yeah, Samsung announces a new OS 5 Phone with all the features you've been drooling over... except that it won't work on a CDMA network. Anyone have any ideas why major electronics manufacturers insist on releasing better phones for GSM networks?
