Palm Infocenter and CLIE Source are reporting rumors that Sony has ceased producing its mid-range CLIE SJ20 and SJ30 models and plans to replace them with new models.

The mid-range SJ33, which replaces the SJ33, is slated to feature an MP3 player, an improved speaker, a high-resolution color screen, and, according to the Best Buy database, cost around $300, making its appearance towards the end of February. The SJ22, which replaces the SJ20, should be thinner and weigh less than its predecessor, have a color display and hit the streets in April. It is slated to cost $200. The sites are also reporting that a new model will replace the T665 in February.
