iambic Updates Agendus & TimeReporter

Mobile software developer iambic announced upgrades to two of its most popular Palm OS applications, TimeReporter and Agendus.

The company unveiled two editions of TimeReporter 4.0, its expense tracking application, available for Windows desktop and Palm OS handheld devices. TimeReporter 4.0 Standard Edition ($149.95) supports Microsoft Access, while TimeReporter 4.0 Professional Edition ($199.95) supports Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server 2000.

According to the iambic, the program is designed to assist the handheld user with billing clients and keeping track of time and expenses. The data saved to the desktop can be imported into Quicken, Microsoft Money, Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks Pro or any other program that accepts text files.

The company said the Palm OS version resembles many of the views present in the Windows version, including two new views - the "Cross Tab View" and "Day View" - which iambic claims increases reporting accuracy and awareness. A new conduit synchronizes data entries, templates, user and organization-specific settings between the desktop PC (with Access data source), or the centralized MS SQL Server (with SQL Server data source) and the Palm OS component. The program supports the Palm OS 5 platform and Sony NX series.

iambic said Agendus 6.0($24.95) is designed to assist the handheld user with scheduling and management tasks. The company said Agendus 6.0 now includes new major features, including Today View, new agenda views, advanced calendar view, customizable background, new jog dial functions, tap-and-hold menu features, alarm set-up for ongoing meetings, and more.
