For a limited time, ETS's da Vinci, a database code generation tool for Palm OS, is available under a special pricing promotion. The pricing is $79 for a download license, including user's guide in PDF and $129 for a CD license with printed user's guide.
And during this special promotion, ETS said all da Vinci orders placed before August 30th will receive a free license for Pocket Palate 2.0 for Palm OS. Pocket Palate is ETS's product for Wine lovers which provides a personal rating system for Wine Tastings.
According to ETS, da Vinci reduces the complexity involved with designing databases in C for Palm OS and generates code that developers would otherwise need to write manually. da Vinci is designed for use with Metrowerks CodeWarrior Development Tools for Palm OS, Version 8. Generated C code provides functions for saving data, deleting data, sorting, creating new data, duplicating data, searching, and more.
