The Form software keeps crashing
With the new server synchronisation options, the possibilities are endless for compagnies looking to optimise data collection and processing. Unfortunetly I was asked to test the product for Palm OS and I didn't even get to the Syncing to database feature, the Form software itself is unstable and crashes the Palm OS. It's unfortunate, I wrote Handbase with my concerns and the fact that I would be forced to "Not recommend" the software for our clients and haven't received any sign of life in over two weeks. I do hope that there product will deliver or that a competing software will see the day.

So Far the Sync Exchange Doesn't Deliver
I downloaded the new version of Handbase (3.0) professional the day it was released. I was excited about the ability to synchronize multiple handhelds to an Access database. However, after many hours of attempting to use the functionality of the Sync Exchange, I have been unable to get it to update any Access database. The tech-support claims "We apologize for the delay in responding. We have just released a new version of our HanDBase software and have been a bit overwhelmed." That was 2 weeks ago, and still no resolution to the problem. I know that there are often "bugs" with new software, but considering the main focus of this new release is the ability to sync to back-end databases, I would think DDH Software should make sure this functionality delivers before they release the software.
