Seiko Instruments Austin is offering a special online promotion of its aimed series of ThumBoard keyboard products. Beginning this month, all ThumBoard models are available for $19.99, including free UPS ground shipping and handling, when purchased via the company’s website.

According to Seiko, ThumBoard attachments are pocket-size, table-free keyboards designed to simplify text entry when used with Palm V and Palm Vx handhelds, as well as Palm m Series and Handspring Visor PDAs. The company said users enter text in the Palm OS’s primary applications – Address, Date Book, Memo, and To Do – all of which are accessible by pressing shortcut buttons on the ThumBoard. Also included are shortcuts for Power, New, Done, Details, and OK, and there is a command key for text editing features such as Copy, Cut, and Paste. No batteries are required in any of the four ThumBoard models.
