Proporta's has released two new cases. The first is a solid silver case for all PDAs, including the the Palm m500. The second is an aluminum case for Hewlett-Packard's iPAQ PDA.

According to Proporta, the solid silver case is made to order for all leading mobile devices. The company said the cases are hand crafted from English Hallmarked Silver using traditional methods, baize lined and hand polished to a perfect mirror finish. Each case is a numbered limited edition, which is engraved by hand according to the personal wishes of the owner. The case comes complete with a solid English Hallmarked Silver stylus (these are also available separately) and a complete selection of Proporta software (including TomeRaider e-reference viewer).

The company said its iPAQ aluminium case ($39.00)is just a fraction larger than the iPAQ handheld. Proporta said the case is manufactured from 100% aircraft grade anodised aluminium with a thin neoprene lining and weighs just 48g (1.7oz). It is slated to be available in the next couple of weeks.
