Navman USA, a provider of global positioning systems (GPS), communication and marine products, has lowered the price of its Navman GPS p Series by 25%. The p Series, a portable, all-in- one mapping and navigation solution for Palm handhelds is now being offered at $149.95.

The universal GPS sleeve supports the Palm III, IIIx, V, Vx, VII and VIIx handheld products, a clip-on adapter is included for the Palm V handheld model. The company claims the p Series is the only non-tethered solution on the market for the complete legacy Palm line. The package comes with hardware, Rand McNally's full-featured StreetFinder Deluxe Travel Navigation software, a vehicle mounting kit and a vehicle power adapter. Additionally, the p Series comes with an AC adapter for charging both the GPS unit and the Palm device.
