SplashData, a developer of virtual wallet applications for Palm OS handhelds, today announced an upgrade to SplashShopper, its shopping list manager for Palm OS handhelds and desktop computers.

SplashShopper is designed for keeping lists of groceries to buy, movies to rent, CDs to buy, books to read among other things. It includes a desktop application and HotSync Conduit that allows users to manage and synchronize shopping lists between a handheld and desktop computer.

New features added to SplashShopper 2.1 including the ability to assign items to multiple stores and track per-store prices, beam items to other handhelds, share customized lists in cross-platform (Mac and Windows) vShop format, and the ability to convert HandyShopper database files (PDBs) to SplashShopper format.

The company said the new version of SplashShopper, normally priced at $19.95, is available until June 30, 2002 at half price -- $9.95. To receive the $10 discount, the software may be purchased direct from SplashData website using a discount code of "HANDY" during the checkout process.
