By
Palm m515The Palm m515 is the follow-up device to the problematic m505 handheld. In addition to the complaint about the poor screen quality of the m505, many users have also experienced difficulty in getting the m505 to sync via the USB cradle that came with the device. The Palm m515 solves both of those problems plus it ships with 16 MB of memory. The Palm m515 has a nice little sun icon that will open up a brightness control panel. This control panel will allow you to choose between three setting levels: High, low, and off. Reports indicate that even the low setting on the m515 is superior to the brightness of the m505 display. At $399 the m505 is targeted mainly at the high end consumer, or the mobile business man.
Bonus software Among the titles that come on the bonus CD are DataViz' Documents To Go 4.0 Professional Edition, allowing access to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents on their handhelds, and Chapura's PocketMirror 3.0, which allows synchronization between a Palm handheld and Microsoft Outlook.
