Photobase
I haven't had any problem with Photobase on my Tungsten T. I use SD Cards to store images and MP3's. I bought a $20.00 USB removable media 'drive' at WalMart that reads the SD card. I put the card in the drive, move any files needed (in seconds, without having to sync), then put the card back in my Palm.Works great!

PhotoBase is useless
PhotoBase has been nothing but problems. Pictures will not sync with the Tungsten, nor will Palm or Arcsoft provide any support. I would rather use MGI Photo Suite that came with my M515, but it doesn't work with the Tunsgten or the new version of Palm Desktop.

PhotoBase does not work under Win2K
In addition to comments made regarding the Palm support (or lack of it) for PhotoBase, I have yet to get the desktop application to work on Windows 2000 - I just get an error box saying theat "the application failed to initialise properly". Have tried this on two machines so far - my last resort would be my test XP system, but have not had a chance to try that yet...

Tungsten T Arcsoft PhotoBase is no good
Arcsoft PhotoBase as delivered with Tungsten T doesn't work. The desktop part cannot detect that the Palm desktop is installed. Arcsoft's support depatment doesn't answer e-mails except for an Autoreply. Palm, Inc.'s support states that they don't support third party software and provides a name of a company who is supposed to support. That company turns out to have nothing to do with PhotoBase!
