In today's world there are numerous pass codes, logins, and passwords that you need to remember. If you secure your Palm that's just another password to remember, unless you use Sign-On by Communication Intelligence Corp. Sign-on allows you to secure your Palm device with a password that you're almost sure to never forget, your signature.

Installation
Before installing Sign-On it is advisable to backup all your data. Two files, Sign-On.prc and SignOnDrv.prc, must be installed on your Palm in order for Sign-On to work properly. Once you've downloaded and extracted the files mentioned above simply install the two files as you would install any Palm files.

Using Sign-On
After tapping the Sign-On icon the main screen will open up. On the main screen there are three options. You can create or re-create your signature, verify your signature once it has been stored, or change your password.
  • Creating a password When you creating your password Sign-On will require you to sign your name three times. After all three signatures have been recorded Sign-On will try to create a template of your signature. If the signatures are different no template will be created and Sign-On will ask you to repeat the creation process. Changing your signature uses the same process as creating your signature, but you will first need to sign in using either your signature or password.
  • Verifying Your Signature Once your signature has been stored you can use this section to test it. Tap on the 'test' button and a dialog pops up asking you to sign in the box. Enter your signature and press accept. the program will now process the signature you have just entered with the one stored in its database. If they match a dialog pops up saying that your signature has been verified. If the entered signature does not correspond with the stored on you will be asked to try again.
  • Password Sign-On uses a password as either the second level of protection, or as an alternate protection method if your signature is not recognized. The first time you create a signature you will be asked for the password. If you would like to change your password you'll need to tap this button and follow the prompts.
