High Five is a dice game written by Bryan Cote. It is played exactly like that old dice game,
Yahtzee, by Milton Bradley. I happen to love Yahtzee, as it happens to be a "family" game.
My dad got one of those electronic Yahtzee games for Christmas last year and we've probably
played 1000 games on there already. If you aren't familiar with the game, it's basically poker
played with dice. You get 3 rolls per turn. At the end of each turn, you have to fill in a score i
n one of 13 boxes. As soon as you are done filling up all 13 boxes, the game is over and you add up
all the boxes and bonuses (if you were so lucky) to get your final score. The lowest possible score
would be 5 and the highest possible score would have to be my dad's high score of 609. Way to go, DAD!!
The way to get those really be scores is to roll lots of Yahtzee's or...High Five's, in this case.
High Five's are when you are able to get all five dice to match, i.e., five one's or five two's, etc.
So, now that you know the basics, let's review High Five.
